My Story
You don’t have to know exactly what’s wrong to know something isn’t right. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand—whether that’s unwanted behaviors, anxiety, relationship struggles, loneliness, or a growing disconnect from the life they want to live.
My name is Jake Tastad, and I provide therapy for individuals, teens, and couples in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Crown College and previously served as a pastor for eight years, giving me a deep understanding of the hidden struggles many people carry around shame, faith, identity, and relationships.
I work with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including sexual addiction and compulsive sexual behaviors, anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, faith and spiritual struggles, relationship conflict, betrayal, and identity or self-worth concerns. I also help couples navigate trust repair, emotional distance, and communication challenges.
My approach is honest, compassionate, and focused on helping clients understand the deeper patterns driving their struggles so lasting change can occur.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or tired of carrying things alone, I invite you to reach out.
